Hair Types

Who doesn't dream of having a beautiful, manageable and shinny hair? Knowing your hair type is the first step to determining your hairstyle and knowing how to take good care of your hair.

Fine Hair

Most problems of fine hair is not gaining volume and not holding styles, that is because fine hair strand is thin, soft, flat, and lifeless, when healthy it shines, it gets damaged easily. A short blunt cut will create the illusion of more hair. Avoid layers and long hair as the general rule for fine hair is that the shorter it is, the lighter it is and therefore the less limp and flat it gets.

Medium Hair Type

Most people have medium hair which is considered as normal hair. Medium hair strand is not too thick, not too thin, it has lots of body and so it holds any style very well. Wavy hair is considered as medium hair type. It is softer than coarse hair, voluminous than fine hair, more manageable than fine hair.

Coarse Hair Type

Coarse is rough, wiry, heavy, wild, and strong. Curly and kinky hair are types of coarse hair. The hair strand is thick and is often dry and needs conditioning to keep it under control. Wear it long so the weight of the hair drags it down. Get a layered cut.
